Terrifying moment swing forcefully moves by itself in children’s play area with nobody nearby

Paranormal believers think they have seen the real deal after footage of a swing moving by itself in a children’s play area went viral.

The video shows a deserted play area in India and one swing forcefully rocking back, forth and side to side as if being ridden eratically.

Adjacent is another swing, which remains completely still during the one-minute 25-second clip filmed by a terrified onlooker, who then runs away.

The video shot at Khyala B Block Park has been viewed more than 25,000 times on YouTube – with many speculating it is evidence of the supernatural.

The swing violently moves as if being ridden – but nobody is there

Filmed during broad daylight, no string can be seen attached to the swing, while it appears there is very little wind.

The swing rocks back and forth, tilting sideways, for 30 seconds before slowing and gently swaying.

But then it explodes with movement, violently swinging without a rider.

The clip went viral online, with many viewers speculating about what happened and claiming it was a sure sign of a ghost .

After pausing briefly, the children’s play equipment violently springs back into action

Some people online are sure it’s a sign of a ghost, while critics think a fishing line was used to move it

“Oh my God.. Horrible,” one shocked viewer wrote, while another said: “I thought someone pulled it up and let it go and ran away …. but the when it slowed down and started again I had chills.”

Another said: “Even throw [sic] people say it’s the wind.. Why is the swing next to it not moving. People say it’s a string.. but the chains of the swing is stiff like a weight on the seat.”

But critics think someone attached a fishing line to the seat and is simply tugging it from off camera.

However, towards the end of the video, the person filming makes a hasty escape, while the swing is still moving, giving a momentary shot of the nearby area – and there’s nobody there.

“It’s probably being pulled by fishing line,” one commenter said.

Another added: “That isn’t even remotely scary …could just be the wind or even someone pulling it with a string or something.
